The mission of Fire Safe Moraga-Orinda is to protect our community from wildfire by providing grant funding to property owners for the purpose of hazardous fuel removal.
Fire Safe Moraga-Orinda (FSMO) is a nonprofit organization working to reduce wildfire risk and improve preparedness across the Moraga-Orinda community. FSMO partners with the Moraga-Orinda Fire District, City of Orinda, Town of Moraga, and the Moraga-Orinda Firewise Network of neighborhood groups, to support wildfire education and fund hazardous vegetation removal projects that help create safer, more resilient neighborhoods.
